Should You Stay Or Leave? (If your company sucks and your manager is impossible)

(My Opinion from years of observation and experience.)

GOOD people don’t leave bad companies, they leave bad managers,

If the company is bad enough, both managers and employees conspire to jump ship before the ship goes down.

Because most bad companies aren’t worth the risk.

Hard words, but it’s the truth.

Sadly, evil companies usually don’t want to hear the truth often blaming their employees instead of taking ownership for their own failures.

If the ship is sinking why would you want to drown and die with the ship?

Maybe you want to save it by making a difference okay, but set a specific, strategic and realistic time to avoid going down with the ship.

My opinion;

Grab a life preserver by leaving and going to a company that actually values you and has excellent management in place that everyone can thrive together.

Because life’s too short to throw your career away.

You deserve to be happy and you only have one life to live so live it your way on your terms, take back control.

You deserve to enjoy life and to be happy!

It seems to me that many subpar companies who have bad or good managers (management) don’t want their good employees to leave, but they’re unwilling to affect positive change.

Why stay?

Love to hear your thoughts.

One day a poem formed in my mind, it happened as a result of an experience I was going though. So I wrote it down and haven’t stopped writing since.

I’m not skilled in grammar and punctuation or even spelling, but I do have a gift for translating my feelings, thoughts and emotions into words, that people can relate to.

My motivation for writing comes from a deeply rooted desire I have to encourage and motivate people.

I know the loneliness, that darkness that leads a person to contemplating suicide, that was once me. I had no one that understood the pain, agony and darkness I was going through.

And that is why I write and share publicly, in hope that I might encourage another human soul needing desperately to hear, “There’s hope, you’re not alone in your struggle”.

I haven’t figured out everything, but what I have figured out I write about, and sometimes I bleed words turning them into poetry.
